"Inspiration"

It's been a while since I have posted anything. Not that I don't work on anything because I do, it's just that there really hasn't been anything inspiring that has motivated me to create something worthwhile. I am not the type that usually creates art for art's sake. It is more of a release. A release of some feeling or thought that in some way reaches for the canvas as though the canvas possesses something sacred.

Well I think I have found my inspiration, or rather, my inspiration has found me. I have recently found out that I am going to be a father. As long as I have lived I have wanted the opportunity to raise a child. Now that it has become a reality, I have a thousand different feelings that seem to bounce off of one another waiting for the chance to find their home on the canvas. The feelings are none the same.

Now it's just a matter of time.
